MUTUAL SUPPORT & SOCIAL SERVICES SOCIETY
The West Akyem (CCP) Co-operative Cocoa Farmers Mutual Support and Services Society Limited which was formed in 2020 and registered on 6th July, 2021 as a Non-bank Co-operative Financial Institution that offers financial services to its registered members in the form of deposits and loan schemes. The Society is to registered under the Co-operative Decree of 1968 (NLCD 252).
The Head office of the Mutual Support is located at Asamanese in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
The Mutual Support is governed by a five (5) member Board of Directors (BoD) and supported by three-member (3) loans Committee and two (2) member each of the Supervisory, and the Education Committees.
OPERATIONS
The Mutual Support is involved in rendering financial services to registered members in the form of “Savings and Loans”. Membership is open to people living in and around Asamankese. As a Co- operative Mutual Support, its operations are regulated by the Department of Co-operatives.
